Sicamous KOA Campground Sold To Pinnacle Lifestyles

Canadian RV and adventure resort company, Pinnacle Lifestyles Resorts, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of their latest resort property, the Sicamous RV & Cabin Resort. The former KOA campground is the fifth property in just the past 16-months that the company has added to its list of resorts, joining Kokanee Springs Resort, White Lake RV & Fishing Resort, Revelstoke RV & Cabin Resort and Pinnacle Trails Resort west of Edmonton.

These premier locations, along with more properties being launched this year, will soon form a loop through some of the most sought-after vacation destinations in the West including the Rockies, the Kootenays, Shuswap Country, David Thompson Country, and Alberta’s majestic foothills. This loop offers guests a fantastic way to experience BC and Alberta, starting their journey in the scenic Yellow Head County west of Edmonton, before winding westward and then heading south through the heart of many of British Columbia’s hottest vacation spots and best loved lakes including Kootenay Lake, Mara Lake, Shuswap Lake and White Lake.

The Sicamous RV & Cabin Resort is west of the city of Revelstoke, just off the Trans-Canada Highway, within 20-minutes of the pristine banks of Shuswap and Mara Lakes. The Sicamous area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with local hiking, mountain biking, fishing and kayaking all within easy reach of the resort. Pinnacle Lifestyles’ newest retreat features serviced RV sites, cabin rentals and tent campsites. Amenities include a beautiful outdoor heated pool, a store, miniature golf, cedar barrel sauna, playground, Wi-Fi, as well as laundry and shower facilities. Sicamous RV & Cabin Resort opens to the public May 1st, and reservations are now being accepted online at www.sicamousrvresort.ca.

“Enjoy local and area attractions such as the Enchanted Forest, D Dutchmen Dairy and the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge, there are also top wineries and spectacular nature walks in the Sicamous area” says Mark Burke, Marketing Manager for Pinnacle Lifestyles. “After a day of outdoor adventure, head back for a float in the resort’s pool or relax in the cedar barrel sauna.”

The acquisition of Sicamous RV Resort is yet another example of how Pinnacle Lifestyles continues to adapt to Canadians’ growing demand for outdoor escapes. Its goal is to help everyone find more balance in their lives, and for families to share special moments in the great outdoors.
